New Model Release: A Perkins Retro Commodore Has Arrived In 1:18 Scale

Our latest new model release is a cool one for fans of both Jack and Larry Perkins, it's the 1:18 scale Shaw and Partners Racing Holden ZB Commodore raced at the 2023 Dunlop Super2 Series Sandown Round featuring an awesome retro livery inspired by the legendary Perkins Engineering 1993 Bathurst 1000 winner.

With one of the most iconic family names in Australian motorsport history, Jack Perkins has paid tribute to his fathers Hall of Fame motorsport career with a number of outstanding retro liveries on his own race cars in recent years - and this one is no exception.

With the base of the iconic 1993 Castrol livery applied to the ZB Commodore, the car was a real head turner. In an odd twist, Larry’s famous number 11 was featured on the doors and roof in acknowledgement of the livery it was paying tribute to, however the car was entered as #70 with the corresponding numbers on the windows. A bit of a confusing trap for young players!

It's another interesting fact collectors can tell to admirers when showing off this 1:18 scale replica which has been produced in sealed body format with clear windows and high detail.
